2012 Feria del Mariachi Competition

  • College/University
  • High School Varsity
  • High School Non-Varsity (second group from the same school)
  • Middle School/Jr. High School
  • Community Ensemble (not a public school)

 

Entry Fees

There will be a $40.00 entry fee PER STUDENT. These entry fees include:

  • Scholastic Mariachi Competition
  • Mariachi Workshops and Lunch
  • Mariachi Concert

 

The DIRECTOR’S entry fee is $40.00 per person (maximum 2 per ensemble). This fee includes workshop materials, lunch and concert tickets.

 

The CHAPERONE’S entry fee is $20.00 per person (maximum 3). This fee includes lunch and concert tickets.

 

NOTE: If a school has more than 30 students from one school program, the fee will drop to $30.00 a student starting with the 31st student.

How to Enter

 

Download our registration packet when it's available, fill it out and fax it to the School of Music at 512.245.1717 or 512.245.1236.

NOTE: If you fax your entry from, you MUST mail a check or money order for your entry fees in order for it to be considered a complete application. If you are sending a check from your district office, please have them notate the school name associated with the check. Make checks payable to Texas State University. Your group will NOT be allowed to participate in the festival if you do not have a complete application. You will receive an email confirmation when your registration form(s) and check are processed.

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

All entry forms must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012.
