The 13th Annual Feria del Mariachi is scheduled for March 2 - 3, 2012 in San Marcos, TX. All mariachi educators, students and the community are invited to attend.

 

Fesitivities include:

• Mariachi competition for scholastic and community groups
• Mariachi workshops on vocal and instrumental techniques
• Mariachi clinic featuring Mariachi 7 Leguas from the Rio Grande Valley
• Concert featuring Mariachi 7 Leguas, Texas State Univerisity's Mariachi
  Nueva Generacion, the first place winner of the 2012 mariachi competition
  and special guest emcee, Valente Rodriguez from The George Lopez Show!

 

Our Mission

Feria del Mariachi's mission is to promote mariachi education and culture in the schools and the community by exposing students to successful figures in the mariachi community and providing them a chance to meet other young musicians.
